CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY
EcoVadis offers a sustainability rating system for companies, focusing on four main areas:
- Environments
- Labor practices and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable purchasing
EcoVadis evaluates companies' ESG (environmental, social and governance) policies, actions and results through a digital platform.
Our company currently has a rating of 67 out of 100 points.
QUALITY AND SAFETY
The choice to introduce an Integrated Management System is given by the belief that it is the only way to guarantee and apply Quality and Safety in the company, such as to maximize the results by protecting the people who work within the company and allow production in compliance with the needs of customers, the market, and the health and safety of workers.
The implementation and continuous improvement of an Integrated Management System compliant with UNI ISO 9001:2015 and UNI ISO 45001:2018 standards is the main tool of this activity.
Within this path, the Top Management undertakes to address as a priority and systematically the aspects of health, safety and quality at work, in all activities and in the evaluations relating to future planning.
MOCA SELF-CERTIFICATION
With the entry into force of the "hygiene package" regulations in 2004, the European Community entrusted the responsibility for food safety to operators in the sector, through the implementation of a self-control plan based on the principles of the HACCP system.
In the following years, the consideration of Food Safety has also been extended to everything that comes into direct contact with food.
The European Regulation 852/2004 on the hygiene of food products reports the application of the HACCP methodology as a tool to identify the critical phases for food safety and to ensure that appropriate safety procedures are identified, maintained and updated.
The general approach to the hygiene of MOCA (Materials and Objects intended for Contact with Food) is based, as mentioned, on the assumption of self-control.
Starting from these assumptions, Carpinox sas has drawn up its own Moca Manual where the final objective is the safety of the foods that come into contact with the manufactured products.
